My journey to Master's in Psychotherapy: I started my master's in psychotherapy full-time and working 12-14 hours a day, was a tremendous challenged for me. I recall working 7 nights along with the school work caused me to feel fatigue and sleepiness. A study suggested night work has a pronounced negative effect on sleep and daytime insomnia (Akerstedt & Wright, 2009). Although I stopped working the night shift, I'm experiencing insomnia.
